Dr Mark Bonnar, Managing Director

Venture capital investor and fund manager with broad international experience and networks spanning EU, US, China and ANZ. Domain expert in energy and clean technology with a background in advanced materials.

Currently Mark serves on the boards of Sunman Energy, Greensync, BenAn Energy, Octillion Energy (SinoEV) and Hydrexia. Previously a director of Wattwatchers, Mojo Power, Sunverge Energy, Ecoult, V-Fuel. Previous roles include: Cleantech Ventures, CSIRO, Applied Materials, UK Government and multiple private equity backed technology companies.

Mark holds a BSc in applied physics and a PhD in materials science from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. He is a Chartered Physicist and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2019 Mark joined former Vice President Al Gore in the Climate Reality Project to support education and advocacy on climate change.
