Southern Cross Renewable Energy Fund

The Southern Cross Renewable Energy Fund is a $200 million fund. The fund is made up of $100 million provided through The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and $100 million from Softbank China Venture Capital (SBCVC), a leading venture capital firm in Asia.

This Fund focuses on investments in eligible companies that are commercialising renewable energy technologies across solar, wind, biofuels, wave and tidal, waste to energy, co-generation, tri-generation, geothermal and enabling technologies.
